COMPOSITION NO.1

Visuals

Composition No.1 was originally a published book in the 1960s. This is literally a book in a box with loose pages you can read in any order. This moves away from the traditional linear ways of book telling as it leaves it to the reader to which order they read it in so to any one person it can be the same book but a different story. If someone wants to read it again, they can with a completely different story which makes it unique and a quality I really like the idea.

Composition No.1 was also brought more up to date in the sense of developing an iPad app version of the book, however the screen version leaves the readers no choice in shuffling the pages.

Lots of publishers today are joining future advertising, digital, with past advertising of just printing to make them more appealing and I think also widens an audience.
This book is designed by Universal Everything, a UK-based design studio known for their interactive screen-based work.
